This Valentine’s Day … Give the perfect gift and
save the lives of our animals at the shelter!

If you are looking for the perfect Valentines gift for your loved ones, come to shelter and sponsor one of our furry friends this Valentine’ s day in their honor!

The Kennels for Valentines Campaign supports the more than 1000 homeless, abused and abandoned animals we shelter annually in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.

Sponsorship impacts both the animal of your choice and our organization by providing the means necessary for essential medical treatment and proper care such as vaccines, spay and neuter, surgery and rehabilitation.

In honor of your gift a sign will be posted on the kennel of your choice and a Valentine’s thank you card will be sent to your loved one.

Kennel sponsorship forms are available on our website www.fortmcmurrayspca.ca or at the shelter. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to:

Fort McMurray SPCA
155 MacAlpine Crescent
Fort McMurray, Alberta
T9H 4A5

If you require information about this very important fundraiser please contact Gabriela Galeana Fundraising/Events coordinator.

… When someone asks about your Valentine's plans, you can tell them that you are saving lives!

Kaiser is looking for a home!!

Kaiser is a wonderful dog looking for his forever home. He is currently in foster care but desperately needs a permanent place to live. He is very sweet and has A LOT of energy. He needs a bit of work with training, so an active person with some dog handling experience is a must. He gets along with certain other dogs as long as the dog is up for tons of playtime and a loyal best friend. He is approximately 1 year old and is neutered. He is very sweet and friendly and would make a great addition to your family! If you have any questions about Kaiser or would like to set up an appointment to meet him please call us at 780-743-8997 for more information.

Sutton Group – Fort McMurray is proud to present Dancing with the Stars Wood Buffalo in support of the Fort McMurray Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the Sawridge Inn. This inaugural event promises to provide guests with an exciting evening of entertainment: modelled after the popular reality TV show, “Dancing with the Stars,” guests will enjoy watching six local Wood Buffalo leaders compete in a live dance competition for your votes in an all-out effort to raise money for the SPCA. For more information, please contact Amy at 780-790-6627 or info@dancingwiththestarswb.ca or visit www.dancingwiththestarswb.ca.

The Fort McMurray SPCA is in need of foster families.

Animals suited to the foster program are most often too young, need further socialization or require special attention due to treatable illness and recovery which prevents them from being ideal candidates for adoption at the time.

Foster parents provide a safe and conducive environment for the animals to mature, become socialized and accustom to a home setting and heal from existing wound and illness. If you are interested in providing foster care or have questions regarding the program contact us at 780-743-8997
