Please make sure you are really ready to bring a new animal into your life. Owning an animal is a life long commitment and is more difficult than many people think. Are you ready for pooping, chewing, barking, meowing, scratching, getting sick, worms, shedding, tracking in mud, etc. Is your current family situation stable? Do you work too much? Etc...

We have knowledgeable shelter staff that can help you make the best match but you are the only one who really knows your situation, knowledge, and level of commitment.

If this is your first pet, we encourage you to take RPets4You on line course to help you get ready.

$5 will be sent to the FMSPCA for every on-line course that is purchased.
